Aam Aadmi Party is a proposed Indian political party launched by activist Arvind Kejriwal on November 24, 2012. A meeting of around 300 founder members was held at Constitution Club during which Arvind Kejriwal proposed the name of the party which was accepted by other members. The constitution of the party was proposed by Mayank Gandhi and seconded by Chandramohan. The meeting also saw some disagreement among a section of workers who were not allowed to attend it due to available space constraints.
