Abdullah Ercan (born December 8, 1971 in Istanbul, Turkey) is a Turkish football player. He played mostly for Trabzonspor (1993-1999) and Fenerbahçe (1999-2003). He transferred to Galatasaray in 2003-2004 season and İstanbulspor in 2004-2005 season. He played for Turkey national football team and was a participant at Euro 1996, Euro 2000 and 2002 FIFA World Cup. Abdullah's winding runs and crosses down the left flank caused mayhem for opponents. An intelligent player, he knows when to hold back and is a defensive bonus to the back four. Abdullah is currently a head coach for the Turkey national under-18 football team. [1]
