About Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, popularly known as Aish, was born on November 1, 1973, in Mangalore. Her family moved to Mumbai shortly and she received her primary and secondary education in Mumbai itself. Always bright throughout school and college, Rai aspired to become an architect some day. But these plans were put on hold when she won the title of Miss India World in 1994.
