The film was initially to be released in 3D, but Kunder scrapped the idea after seeing the fate of other Bollywood 3D films at the box office
Chitrangada Singh is performing her first item number in the movie. She will be dancing to the song 'Kaafirana'
The soundtrack of the film is composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar
Kunder explained his decision to name the film Joker on Twitter. He tweeted 'JOKER refers to a place that does not exist on the global map. Just like #Joker in a pack of cards that does not belong to any colour.'
Kunder had initially wanted to name the movie 'Udan Khatola'
