Anaida Bio

The introduction of Anaida in the world of entertaiment took place when she won the Indian Dance Championship. Before settling in the job of a radio jockey, she participated in many acting and choreographic competitions. She has the honour of being the first ever radio jockey in FM from India, under her belt.

She was only 16 years old, when she released her first single, "Hotline". The single created waves throughout India and she was reckoned as a pop star. The success of "Hotline" was followed by the highest selling debut album, `Love Today Nahi Asaan`. `Love Today Nahi Asaan` also remains the first pop album choreographed by illustrious choreographer Saroj Khan. With the album Anaida earned the nomination for the best female vocalist for the song `Dil le Ley`.

Apart from this, Anaida has also sung for many South Indian films. `Piya Bina` has been regarded as the greatest hit by Anaida. The video of this song brought her the honour of being the frequently requested lady to play videos on famed music channnels. Today she is established as a most cherished and successful performing artist, ever to have graced the entertainment world of India. The reflection of this talent channelised towards poetry, which are also fascinatingly insightful. The kind of depth she exhibits through her involvement has been highlighted in the verses created by her. Anaida`s new album, `Nayaa` evidently, comprises some of her poetic works. Anaida is the name of a talent who has lent her voice for 11 different languages and has also bagged the honour of collaborating with the highest number of international artists in addition to high level international projects to her credentials. Such kind of acknowledgment has never been achieved by any Indian female pop singer yet.
