Andrei Sergeyevich Arshavin (Russian; Russian: Андре́й Серге́евич Арша́вин; in English his first name is sometimes written as Andrey) (born 29 May 1981 in Leningrad) is a Russian international football forward who currently plays for Arsenal of the English Premier League. The 2006 Russian footballer of the year is a versatile second striker who can also play as an attacking midfielder and winger.
