About Brad Hogg

George Bradley "Brad" Hogg (born 6 February 1971), is an Australian cricketer. He is a left-arm chinaman bowler, and a capable lower-order left-handed batsman, as well as an excellent fielder. Hogg retired from international cricket in 2008 however in 2011/12, at 40 years of age, Hogg made a surprising and triumphant comeback with the Perth Scorchers team in the Australia T20 Big Bash. As a result of that success, Hogg secured contracts from around the world; Bangladesh BPL T20, South Africa Mi-Way T20, India IPL T20, Sri Lanka League T20. At 41 years of age, Hogg is the oldest Australian International Cricketer to be included in a World Cup Squad as he cemented his position in the 2012 Australian T20 World Cup held in Sri Lanka, and three AUS vs Pakistan matches in the leadup to that campaign.
