About Chetan Anand (badminton)

Chetan Anand Buradagunta is an ace badminton player from India. He is considered to be one of the best male badminton players in the country after Prakash Padukone, Syed Modi and Pullela Gopichand.    He has a career best world ranking of world no 11. His Ranking has dropped to 54 since October 2010 due to his Ankle injury. He is also the recipient of the prestigious Indian Arjuna Award. Chetan Anand was encouraged by Prakash Padukone, arguably the best international player in badminton ever produced by India. Chetan's career received a boost when Prakash Padukone sent him to the World Academy camp in Kuala Lumpur, Malayasia, where he made significant improvements to his game.
