David Semel Rose (b June 12, 1957) is a serial entrepreneur and angel investor, based in New York. An Inc. 500 CEO (for founding boom-era wireless pioneer AirMedia)[1], he is known for mentoring young entrepreneurs[2] and was named to the 2008 \Silicon Alley 100\ list by Silicon Alley Insider[3]. He is a frequent speaker at business school entrepreneurship programs[4][5][6] and was a founding member of the New York New Media Association.[7] Rose is an active early stage technology investor, having funded more than 70 start-up companies[8].
