Esha Deol's parents, Dharmendra and Hema Malini, are both Bollywood actors. She has a sister who is called Ahana. Esha did her schooling from the Jamnabai Narsee School then went on to� Oxford University and obtained a Masters Degree in Media Arts and Computer Technology. Esha Deol is an accomplished Bharatanatyam dancer and was trained by her mother. In 2002, she received more than eight awards for her debut performance in Boney Kapoor's Koi Mere Dil Se Poochhe, a love story that also explores the relationship between a mother and a daughter.In 2004, Mani Ratnam offered Esha a role in his Tamil film Ayitha Ezhuthu because she speaks Tamil fluently.
