Fiza Mohammad and Chander Mohan: In between 2008 and 2009, Fiza Mohammad's whirwind romance with Chand was amongst the biggest headlines. Former Haryana deputy Chief Minister Chander Mohan left his political career, his wife and children to marry Anuradha. He chose to convert to Islam to marry Fiza Mohammed, who too had converted to Islam but theirs was a highly controversial love story that ended in tragedy
Anuradha, 41, married Chander Mohan, in 2008 - Anuradha became Fiza and Chander Mohan became Chand Mohammad. Before the marriage, Chander Mohan had disappeared suddenly and resurfaced a few days later with Anuradha by his side. The marriage created such a furore that Chander Mohan was forced to resign.
Just a couple of weeks after their marriage, Chander Mohan returned to his first wife. He called up Fiza and told her that he is giving her a divorce. He also sent her messages saying the same. Fiza, a former assistant advocate general of Haryana, had attempted suicide in 2009 after her separation from Chander Mohan.
After her separation, she tried to get a toehold in the glamour world, appearing as a contestant in the reality show 'Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao'. Fiza was also considered for the third season of celebrity reality show 'Bigg Boss'. Fiza's first marriage was to a Mohali businessman and lasted a year.
