Gajanan Digambar Madgulkar was a prominent Marathi poet, lyricist, writer and actor from India. He was popularly known in his home state of Maharashtra by just his initials as Ga Di Ma . His younger brother Venkatesh Madgulkar also attained fame as a writer. Many of his poems and stories by him are written by him his hometown.
