Gaurav Dagaonkar (born 10 July, 1982 in Mumbai, India) is a singer, songwriter signed to Universal Music, India. Gaurav shot to fame in India in 2006 after his decision to pursue a career in music after completing his masters in business management from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, the most prestigious business school in India. This rare incident received tremendous coverage in all prominent newspapers and news channels in India. Gaurav\s music career was flagged off by Mr. Narayana Murthy, the founder of Infosys, the Indian software giant. Susequently, his debut album \"College Days\" was released in February 2008. The first single \"College Days\" peaked at #5 on the Indipop Charts of Radio Mirchi and Planet M, India\s biggest Radio Station and music store, respectively.
