About Jackie Shroff

Jackie Shroff was born to Kakubhai and Rita Shroff. He is married to Ayesha, who is a film producer and between the two of them they run Jackie Shroff Entertainment Limited. They have two children, Jai and Krishna. He made his debut in the film Heera Panna. In 1982, Jackie was a popular model, till Dev Anand picked him up for a minor part in the film Swami Dada. In 1983, his film, Hero directed by Subash Ghai was a huge hit and made him a superstar overnight. In 1990, he won the Filmfare Best Actor Award for his performance in Parinda.He had formed his own company, Jackie Shroff Entertainment Limited (JSEL) and produced a film called Grahan, which was directed by his friend, Shashilal Nair.In 2006, he had supporting roles in the hit comedy films Apna Sapna Money Money and Bhagam Bhag. In 2007, he appeared in the action comedy Fool and Final.His 2008 films include Thodi Life Thoda Magic
