About Jamie Kern

Jamie Marie Lima (née Kern) (born July 16, 1977) is best known as Creator and CEO of It Cosmetics She was also a TV News Anchor for several years and prior to that, a contestant on the first season of Big Brother. She has also competed in the Miss USA pageant and won the Baywatch College Search in 1999 where she appeared on an episode of the TV show. She credits that experience to first learning about body makeup. Kern was born and grew up in San Rafael, California but later moved to Des Moines, Washington. Kern graduated from Washington State University as a member of that University\s Honor College and was awarded the President\s Award. She maintained a GPA of 4.0 and completed her degree in three years. In 1999 she was the Phi Kappa Phi Senior Scholar of the Year.
