M H Ambareesh,is a member of the 14th Lok Sabha of India. He represents the Mandya constituency of Bihar and is a member of the Indian National Congress(INC) political party. M H Ambareesh is also an well known Kannada film actor. He is a prominent politician from Karnataka state. He is an under graduate from Sharada Vilas, Mysore (Karnataka). Ambareesh was elected to 12th Lok Sabha in 1998 and was a member of Committee on Petroleum and Chemicals. He was also the member of the Consultative Committee and Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas. He was re-elected to 13th Lok Sabha(1999) and to 14th Lok Sabha in 2004. He was also the member of Committee on Health and Family Welfare. He is the current Union Minister of State of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting since October 25, 2006.
