About Manish Patel

Manish Patel, cult actor and writer was born in the border town of Tazara between Tanzania and Zambia in East Africa. He is one of the leading lights in Britain\s independent cinema movement. His acting and writing flair has brought him many accolades and while the British Asian community has embraced him he is yet to be discovered by the mainstream. His first film Triads, Yardies and Onion Bhajees (directed by Sarjit Bains) was premiered at Cannes Film Festival in 2003 and went on limited theatrical release - including a record-breaking run at Quentin Tarantino\s favourite British cinema, The Prince Charles in London\s Leicester Square. His portrayal of the central character Singh was nothing short of chilling.
