Movie Synopsis
Rajneeti is influenced by the epic story from the Indian mythology the "Mahabharat", the movie is set in the milieu of contemporary electoral politics. Election-driven politics - the ugly face of democracy, where every kind of move is made in the blind lust of power. A revolutionary - who suddenly chose to leave it all. An underdog, whose move stunned the rulers. A mentor - who fought the battle without weapons. The innocent - who asked for nothing and lost everything. The challenger who staked his life for power. The inheritor who believed that power was his birthright. The diva who is forced into battlefield. And the outsider who overturned every rule of the game. In politics, only one thing matters - to win, at any cost.
