SUV Also known as Sports Utility Vehicle, these mean machines are for the roads. These are usually equipped with a four-wheel drive for on or off-road ability. MUV Also known as Multi Utility vehicle, these vans are typically either two-box or one box designs and are taller than a sedan, hatchback, or a station wagon. Coupe It’s an enclosed car type that can be accessed only via the two front doors and not via the rear doors, as they are permanently fixed. (In pic: Bentley continental GT coupe)

Hatchback It’s a vehicle with a hatched back that has only three roof pillars per side. Basically, it tends to be small and incorporates a shared passenger and cargo volume.  (In pic: Volkswagen Beetle)

Grand Saloon It’s a four-door grand car that has six, eight and twelve-cylinder engines and are typically the most powerful of the lot. (In pic: Audi A8)
