Suspected terrorist Fasih Mohammed allegedly involved in the Chinnaswamy Stadium blast has been arrested by the Delhi Police Special Cell. This came after Saudi Arabia deported the suspected Indian Mujahideen terrorist to India. Fasih is accused of involvement in Bangalore and Delhi blast conspiracies.

Fasih was detained in Saudi Arabia in June 2012. The 28-year-old's deportation from Saudi Arabia had earlier been delayed since India doesn't have an extradition treaty with Saudi Arabia. He was wanted in connection with incidents in Delhi and Bangalore. An Indian national who fled to gulf countries as IB was trying to detain him along with Jundal but his deportation did not work out.

On the request of Karnataka and Delhi Police, CBI had asked the Interpol to issue a Red Corner Notice against Fasih after which Saudi Authorities informed that he had been apprehended by them. The agency was interacting with the Saudi authorities on the formalities to bring him back, they said.

Fasih had reportedly been missing and his wife Nikhat Parveen had approached the Supreme Court claiming Fasih was in the custody of central security agencies. Parveen moved the Supreme Court alleging her husband was picked up by a joint team of Indian and Saudi officials on May 13 for his alleged terror links.
