Love him, hate him, but you just can ignore him. In a first by any Indian politician, Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi took on questions from a number of netizens on a variety of topics through a live video chat on Google+ Hangout. The hangout was hosted by Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn.
The Google Plus server crashed on Friday after a the huge response to Narendra Modi's LIVE video chat on Hangout. In fact, the chat had started late because of techinical difficulties. 'Google+ Hangout' facilitates 'group video chat' with upto 10 persons at a time.
Modi, the tech-savvy politician
Modi is the first Indian politician to host a live chat via Internet, joining the ranks of US President Obama and Australian PM Julia Gillard.
Modi, who is active on Twitter and will be facing assembly elections by year-end, answered questions during the programme. The event was broadcast on Youtube.
