A slab of the under-construction metro bridge collapsed in Marol area in Andheri, Mumbai on Tuesday. Some people reportedly trapped under the debris, have been rescued and taken to the hospital. Some people are also reportedly injured. The rescue operation is going on. Four fire tenders are at the spot.
According to TV reports, some officials said on conditions of anonymity that heavy rains could be behind this mishap.
