Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit was heckled at a function here Friday and shown black flags by a crowd, angry over inflated electricity bills.
"There were anti-government slogans and black flags were shown to the chief minister when she was on the stage," a police official told IANS.
Dikshit left the function midway.
Seven people, including four women, were detained but later freed, police said.
The chief minister, accompanied by Food and Supply Minister Haroon Yusuf, was inaugurating two renovated offices of the food and supply department when the incident happened.
