Anupam Kher's father Pushkar Nath Kher passed away yesterday. He died at the residence of his younger son Raju Kher at 1.15 pm. He was 84 years old and is survived by his wife and two sons.
Raju Kher says, "He wasn't keeping well. He had stopped eating."
Raju informs, "Anupam came to see dad in the morning before flying to Goa. He took the flight back as soon as he heard the news."
Kher tweeted: "As I landed in Goa my brother Raju called from Mumbai that the "Best Dad in the World" ( our father ) is No More. Travelling back."
The funeral took place at Oshiwara crematorium last evening.
