How did this week's releases fare at the box office? We take a look...
BO performance of English Vinglish

English Vinglish passes with flying colours!
Verdict: Hit
All India collections: 12.23 crore (opening weekend)
Rave reviews (read ours here) for director Gauri Shinde and Srivedi helped 'English Vinglish' pick up at the box office even though it had a lukewarm opening on Friday. By Sunday, collections had picked up and the movie is bound to draw in viewers through the week until another yesteryear heavyweight (Rani) makes her comeback next Friday with 'Aiyyaa'. Pundits have even been ecstatic enough to predict that 'English Vinglish' may go the 'Kahaani' way and bring in much more than the makers expected thanks to word-of-mouth publicity.
BO performance of Kismet Love Paisa Dilli

Kismet Love Paisa Dilli is a box office disaster
Verdict: Flop
All India collections: 4.38 crore (opening weekend)
The appropriately titled movie starring Viveik Oberoi and Mallika Sherawat bombed at the box office. Its poor collections make it one of the biggest disasters this year. Neither critics nor audience lapped up the inane offerings of what was marketed and sold as a fun-filled caper, but what ended up being a nightmare to watch. According to reports, KLPD shows have already been reduced in theatres to make way for more screenings of 'English Vinglish' and 'OMG - Oh My God'

OMG - Oh My God! continues to do well. Divine intervention?
Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal's 'OMG - Oh My God' continued to rake in the moolah in week two and its total collections now stand at Rs 48.28 crore. Meanwhile, 'Barfi!' continues to cast a spell on audiences and has now joined the elite 100 crore club. In the battle of the cousins, Ranbir has left Kareena way behind and Oscar buzz will help maintain interest in the movie.
