How did the release of the week (Khiladi 786) perform at the box office? We take a look...
BO performance of Khiladi 786
Verdict: Hit
All India collections: Rs 34 crore (opening weekend)
Despite lukewarm reviews, Akshay Kumar's good run at the box office this year continued, and 'Khiladi 786' easily collected over Rs 30 crore over the weekend. If this movie goes to cross the Rs 100 crore barrier, it will be Akki's third movie to do so this year ('Housefull 2', 'Rowdy Rathore' being the others). 'Khiladi 786' will be helped by the fact that there are no big releases slated for release this Friday, except for Hollywood film 'The Hobbit' - hardly competition for a Bollywood potboiler like this.
BO performance of last week's release

'Talaash' looks like it's all set to sail into the Rs 100 crore club, as the movie managed to earn a cool Rs 68 crores in its first week and 11 crores more in its second weekend. Aamir Khan's release will again be helped by the fact that there is no competition to face from new Hindi releases this week.
