'Rocket Man' Elton John's former car, a classic red Jaguar E-Type, is going under the hammer.
The 64-year-old bought the stunning vehicle back in 1987 - the same year that he released his iconic song 'Candle in the Wind', reported Daily Mail.
The car has an impressive 150mph speed limit and 4.2 litre V8 engine, one of the fastest cars in the world when it first went on the market at the start of the Sixties.
At the time of its release rival car maker Enzo Ferrari described the model as 'the most beautiful car in the world'. But despite setting the world alight, John was happy to get rid of the car in 2001, when its current owner snapped it up for 80,000 pounds at one of the singer's auctions.
But the current unnamed owner has only driven it 1,000 miles in the last decade. Now another owner is getting the chance to ride the car and they can even show off Elton's special registration
number. The plate reads OKE1 - which the singer referred to as 'OK Elton' when it was in his possession.
