Esha Gupta’s career is just one film old, but there’s already trouble brewing for the actor. The makers of her second film, Raaz 3, in which she will be seen alongside Bipasha Basu, seem to have been ignoring Esha. The actor was nowhere to be seen on the film’s first poster, which was launched earlier this month. Upset, she chose not to attend the launch of the film’s trailer earlier this week.
“I think Esha is upset because the first poster of the film got an amazing response from the audience and she wasn’t part of it,” says producer Mukesh Bhatt when asked why Esha did not attend the trailer launch. Esha herself will not comment on her absence from the film’s first look. “There is nothing I would like to say about this topic at the moment,” she says.
“The decision to make me part of the poster launch is one that the producers take, and it would be best if they answered these questions.” However, Fox Star Studios, co-producers of Raaz 3, have a clarification to offer. “There seems to be a misunderstanding which will be addressed,” says Vijay Singh, CEO of Fox Star Studios. “Esha has delivered an excellent performance. You will see more of her in the campaigns in the weeks to come.”
