Actress Katie Holmes is reportedly flourishing in her life post the divorce from actor Tom Cruise.
"Katie is just flourishing in her new life. Yes, there have been some dark moments but Katie was more than ready to embark on the next phase of her life post Tom Cruise," thesun.co.uk quoted a source as saying.
The actress always felt her marriage to Cruise hampered her career.
"Katie felt that her professional career suffered because she was married to Tom and that she didn't have the final say in her acting roles," the source said.
However now Holmes, 33, has also signed two big movie projects. In one movie she will be playing the role of a single mother and also as the producer of the project. The second project is a Broadway play.
