Anita Advani is distraught but determined to attend the condolence meeting for the veteran actor today
She may have been allegedly asked by Rajesh Khanna’s son-in-law Akshay Kumar to get off the late actor’s hearse, since it was meant to be ‘only for family’, but Anita Advani minces no words when she states she will be very much present at his chautha.
Anita, who claims she had been living-in with the veteran actor since the past 10 years, rues the fact that Khanna’s family didn’t even allow her to be present during the last rites. Speaking to HitList, the lady could not hold back her tears as she said, “I will be going for his chautha for sure.” Khanna’s chautha is scheduled to be held today at a suburban luxury hotel.
A member from Anita’s family tells us, “Anitaji is not keeping well at all. She cries the entire day. She is not even having food or water; she only keeps on chanting God’s name. Right now, she is staying with her sister in Grant Road and her family members feel whatever is happening with her, she didn’t deserve it.”
