Foodie and the newest hottie on the B-town block Huma Qureshi is a foodie, but admits that she can't cook to save her life! We sat the 'Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana' girl down for a chat, whose eyes light up at the mention of food. “I am a foodie. My secret ingredient would be to just add lots and lots of love to the food I cook”, says Qureshi.
In 'Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana', she plays the role of a doctor who's "snappy".
"She isn’t rude or anything but just snappy which is something I really like about her," says the actress, whose favourite cuisine isn't Punjabi (like her character's in the movie), but Thai. "But I am a horrible cook. Just like in the movie, I have also made killer dishes in real life and forgotten the recipe afterwards," she laughs. “I usually forget everything so it's difficult to make that same dish again, but I make very good garlic potato mash, which is really quite difficult to make. If the ingredients go wrong, it can be quiet a disaster," she explains.
So how does she keep in shape with all these cravings? “It is difficult to be an actress if you are a foodie. I have to keep my weight in check and so I cannot always give in to my cravings." She however does admit that while promoting her film, she "hogged", and especially on chicken.
