Actor Jackie Shroff, who has been away from Hindi films from quite some time, will be seen in Aditya Chopra's upcoming "Dhoom 3".
"All I can say is I am doing 'Dhoom 3'. In a week's time I should know as to when I would start shooting for my role," the 52-year-old actor told PTI. "Whatever my role requires...I am preparing for that," he added without divulging any details about his character in the film.
The "Dhoom" series centres around bike chases, handsome thieves and daring theft plans. After the success of "Dhoom" (2004) and "Dhoom 2" (2006) there is much buzz about the third part. Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra will reprise their roles of Jai and Ali respectively, while Aamir Khan would play the bad guy. The perfectionist would be seen opposite Katrina Kaif in the film.
The film is produced by Aditya Chopra. "I did a film with them (Yash Raj Films) 'Aaina' long back. It is always a great pleasure to work with them. They have been making good films across all genres. I am really happy and excited to be part of this film," Jackie said.
Jackie has worked with Aamir in Ram Gopal Varma's "Rangeela" (1995) and with Abhishek in "Refugee" (2000) and "Bas Itna Sa Khwaab Hai" (2001). The film, "Dhoom 3', is directed by Victor Acharya and is set to hit cinema houses in 2013.
