In a poll conducted by an online matrimonial website, Bollywood bombshell Katrina Kaif has emerged as the best Indian celebrity match for Prince William. Over 8000 respondents were asked to choose between Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra and Sonakshi Sinha and Katrina emerged the winner with 75.3% of the votes, followed by Priyanka with 16.7% and Sonakshi with 8%.

Coincidentally, Katrina is a British citizen herself, so while the match wouldn't possibly be that bad, we're sure that Ranbir Kapoor and Kate Middleton would certainly have a thing or two to say about it!

However, a stranger coincidence is that Middleton has a 20-year-old cousin in London and her name is – believe it or not - Katrina Darling. Middleton's cousin is also a burlesque dancer whose signature act is ironically called, 'God Save The Queen'.

"With the hype of royal wedding around the globe, we conducted the survey to reflect the enthused spirit about the wedding here in India too," said Gourav Rakshit of shaadi.com, the website that conducted the poll. Other suggestions on social networking sites threw up Sushmita Sen as an ideal match for the prince who gets married to Middleton on Friday at Westminster Abbey.

In 2008 and 2009, Katrina topped the list of the most-searched-for celebrities on the internet in India, according Google Zeitgeist, and last year, she was among the 'fastest-rising people'.
