Filmmaker Tigmanshu Dhulia's "Bullet Raja" with Saif Ali Khan and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead will feature an item number by Mahie Gill.

"We have shot for an item number with Mahie Gill. We have already shot the entire song," Dhulia told IANS.

Said the film's co-producer Rahul Mittra: "Tigmanshu will never incorporate any song unnecessarily. It is a situational song. The song is choreographed by Ganesh Acharya."

Describing the the unusual pairing of Saif and Sonakshi in the film, Dhulia said it was a conscious effort to bring together two actors with a contrast.

"If the hero is very fair, we need the actress to look dusky and vice versa. If both look fair or dusky they look like siblings," he said.

"Bullet Raja" is slated to release Sep 6.
