Apart from her film commitments, Mugdha Godse now has another role — that of an interior decorator. The actress has been busy doing up her new home in a high-rise on Link Road in Andheri. Mugdha had bought the place last year but only recently shifted to her 22nd floor abode.
Previously, she was staying at Versova. As she had made up her mind not to let a professional designer take over the place, she took her own time to shift and spruce it up.
Says Mugdha, “I’ve been shopping a lot for my new house. I have also been getting stuff from friends as gifts for the house. I am delighted as they are such beautiful décor pieces. My friends know me well so they know what I wanted for the house.”
She adds, “I have an interior designer friend Alok Sehgal. I sought advice from him to do up the house. I think it’s beautiful and an extension of me — it reflects my being.
It’s airy and at the moment there is nothing more pleasurable for me than watching the rain and sipping hot tea in the large balcony.” Meanwhile on the B-Town front, Mugdha will be seen in a film with Vinay Pathak in which she essays a de-glam role.
