After opening to mixed reviews, Vikram Bhatt's Raaz 3 is getting positive response from the viewers. In four days, the Bipasha Basu-Emraan Hashmi starrer has already earned 41.76 crore at the box office. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh (@taran_adarsh) tweeted: "#Raaz3 Thu previews 58 lacs, Fri 10.47 cr, Sat 11.18 cr, Sun 13.79 cr, Mon 5.74 cr. total: 41.76 cr nett. Excellent!"
The thriller is also Emraan and Bipasha's biggest opener ever. "#Raaz3 *India* Thu previews 58 lacs, Fri 10.47 cr. Total: 11.05 cr nett. Extra-ordinary. Bhatts, Emraan & @bipsluvurself 's biggest opener!" Taran Adarsh had tweeted.
The film's 3D version is doing better business than the 2D release. "Raaz 3 showed a pretty good opening at the Indian box office. The movie as expected is doing better at single screen theaters than that of multiplexes.
Average occupancy in single screens was somewhere around 80% whereas that of in multiplexes about 60%. Since the movie also released in 3D the 3D screens are having a better footfall than the 2D ones," reported Koimoi.com.
