Ek Tha Tiger has not only opened to packed houses, if initial trade reports are to be believed, the movie has set new records on the day 1 of its release. The Salman-Katrina starrer has broken the first day records of Hrithik's Agneepath and SRK's RA.One. The film reportedly amassed over Rs. 30 crore on Wednesday.
"To state that #EkThaTiger has created History would be wrong. Wed figures are BEYOND HISTORIC," tweeted trade expert Taran Adarsh.
"#EkThaTiger Wed biz still being compiled. Yashraj still getting data. So one can only estimate. Anywhere between 32 to 35 cr nett. Ab bolo!" he added.
"#EkThaTiger biz on Wed is humungous, historic. But wait for Eid celebrations. It will create History *again*. Picture abhi baaki hain!" Adarsh's another tweet read.
