If things go as planned, Sajid himself will direct the film

Buzz is that after Joker controversy, producer Sajid Nadiadwala has decided to take over the direction of Salman Khan starrer Kick from Shirish Kunder. “If things go as planned, Sajid himself will direct the film,” Sajid's friend told Mumbai Mirror. Reportedly the film has been conceptualised by Sajid.

“Sajid and Shirish had a chat. The project, Kick had always been Sajid’s baby. Shirish thought it would be better if the producer called the shots himself,” added the close friend.

But a source suggests otherwise. “After the Joker controversy, Sajid decided to go ahead with the film without Shirish since it has always been his brainchild anyway,” the source told the tabloid.
