Actors Sonam Kapoor and Ayushmann Khurrana have been roped in to play struggling lovers in Aditya Chopra's yet-to-be titled romantic comedy film.

Sonam, 27, and Ayushmann, 28, will play the role of Mayera Sehgal and Mohit Chaddha, who believe that love can survive on passion even in times of financial crisis.

However, Sonam's father and bureaucrat, V.K. Sehgal, played by Rishi Kapoor, disagrees with their ideology and puts up challenges in front of them.

Directed by Nupur Asthana of "Mujhse Fraaandship Karoge" fame, the new movie is written by Habib Faisal.

The film, to be produced under the banner of Yash Raj Films (YRF), is expected to go on the floors in February and is slated for a 2013 release.
