Pop girl band Spice Girls have signed up to perform alongside the rock band The Who at the London Olympics closing ceremony.

The five singers Geri Halliwell, Emma Bunton, Melanie Chisholm, Melanie Brown and Victoria Beckham, who haven't performed together for four years, will join other singers such as George Michael and Jessie J on August 11, reported Daily Express.

"I don't know about a comeback tour but I loved being back with the girls. There was a lot of fun, we did so much together and we'll see. If they're up for something then I certainly am... We are so proud to be English and we are very excited about the Olympics," Beckham said.
