Its ecumenical that 'The Girl on the Train' is one of the most beautiful psychological mystery thriller novel written. The cult novel has been adapted into a feature film which is being helmed by acclaimed director Tate Taylor and produced by legendary Filmmaker Steven Spielberg.
The film promises to captivate its audiences by giving them a strong dose of mystery. The film is complex in its own ways, as the film's story is based on an individual who has succumbed to melancholy and has found her solace in alcohol, seeking happiness in fantasizing about the perfect life of a couple from her ex husband's neighborhood. This complex plot has been beautifully brought to life by Tate Taylor and will soon be screened in India.
The movie has several scenes which are complex and challenging to shoot, but the most difficult and challenging scene to film from the 'The Girl on The Train' is the Tunnel sequence.
Emily Blunt, the lead actress and protagonist of the movie who will be seen as Rachel in the film, says, " The Tunnel sequence is really challenging for everybody, it was really cold and we were shooting in January and during night, it was like brutal. But also we had to shoot tons of different ways of what you think you can see, but you don't see, the Mr X and the reality of what happened and what happened and how much to show of that, from different perspective, it was such a complicated sequence to shoot for everybody."
The tunnel scene is indeed the most pivotal scenes and unfolds the crux of the film, where the mystery of Megan's disappearance starts thereon.
The film has Emily Blunt, Rebecca Ferguson, Haley Bennett, Justin Theroux in the lead roles.
‘The Girl on the Train’ is directed by Tate Taylor and is produced by DreamWorks Pictures and Reliance Entertainment.
The film is slated to release India on 14th October 2016.
