Cricketing world awaits exciting times ahead as some of the best players will be up for grabs at the Indian Premier League players' auction in Bangalore on Saturday. With a number of big players up for sale, one name that every one is curious about is India's stylish left-hander Yuvraj Singh. Struggling to reclaim his Test spot and now a one-day discard, Yuvraj will be hoping to showcase the permanent nature of his class taking over the temporary loss of form. This will also be the first time in IPL's history that 292 uncapped players, including 255 Indians, will be auctioned. The players have been divided into 53 sets with each list ranging from 8 to 10 players. The first list that consists of some of the biggest stars of Indian and international cricket is named Marquee 1 or M1. Yuvraj is part of that list in which all players have a base price of Rs. 2 crore. Yuvraj's fan base may have shrunk a little bit with his mixed showing for India in recent times but surely that won't affect his takers in the IPL auction. Yuvraj played the last edition of the tournament for the now-defunct Sahara Pune Warriors. He has also played for Kings XI Punjab, and though he currently remains out of the national side, his T20 record makes him a valuable asset. The 32-year-old has seven fifties from 34 T20Is at a menacing strike-rate of over 153. His performance in the IPL has also been decent with five fifties and a strike-rate of a little over 130. Apart from his batting and part-time left-arm spin, Yuvraj also brings experience to the table - a fact that may be enticing Kings XI Punjab to bid for him as well, although reports suggest ties between the Punjab franchise and the veteran player are currently strained. The stylish Punjab southpaw will always be remembered for the six sixes he hit in an over from Stuart Broad at the 2007 World Twenty20 in South Africa and with his aggressive approach and all-round ability, he will surely be topping the priority list of many franchises. Dropped from the Indian team due to a string of poor performances, Yuvraj couldn't have asked for a better platform than the IPL to make a comeback. Takers: If rumours are to be believed, Virat Kohli has reportedly spoken to Yuvraj Singh disclosing his interest in having him play for the Royal Challengers Bangalore. RCB's owner Vijay Mallya will love to have a player of Yuvraj's caliber in the team, who can also add to the fan-base. Having already retained three of the best limited-overs batsmen in the world at the moment (Kohli, Chris Gayle and AB de Villiers), Yuvraj's addition to the RCB may make their batting batting line-up the best among all eight teams. The other team that may go after Yuvraj is Delhi Daredevils. Delhi might just be the team that may outbid other teams in the race to buy Yuvraj, with new coach Gary Kirsten at the helm, as they have the heaviest purse having not retained any of their past players. For a team badly looking for a makeover, Yuvraj will surely be an asset.
