Chennai Super Kings, who have already retained five players, brought eight players on Wednesday. Ashish Nehra was picked up by CSK for a base price of 2 crores. Chennai apart from Nehra also have picked up Faf Du Plessis, Dwayne Smith, Brendon McCullum and Mohit Sharma in their ranks. The Super Kings are the most successful team in the IPL having won the title twice in succession (2010 and 2011) and reached the play-offs every season. Here is the list:
