Rarely does it happen but within a month the cricket world will witness a face-off between India and Pakistan for the second time, and though the venue will be the same, stakes will be a lot higher at the ICC World Twenty20 2014 encounter. Bangladesh will host the fifth edition of the World T20, which this time will see participation from 16 teams instead of 12. But all eyes will be on March 21 when India and Pakistan open their campaign and the tournament's Super 10 stage in what is expected to be a high-octane clash with a bit of recent history attached. The two teams played each other at the Asia Cup on March 2, where Pakistan inflicted an agonizing one-wicket defeat on India in a last-over finish. Shahid Afridi's 18-ball 34* included two consecutive sixes in the last over of the match bowled by Ashwin, which settled the issue in Pakistan's favour. And India will want to take revenge when the teams meet at the same venue - the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur. Here's the full schedule: QUALIFYING March 16: Bangladesh vs Afghanistan, Mirpur - 1500 IST March 16: Hong Kong vs Nepal, Chittagong - 1900 IST March 17: Ireland vs Zimbabwe, Sylhet Stadium - 1500 IST March 17: Netherlands vs United Arab Emirates, Sylhet Stadium - 1900 IST March 18: Afghanistan vs Hong Kong, Chittagong - 1500 IST March 18: Bangladesh vs Nepal, Chittagong - 1900 IST March 19: Netherlands vs Zimbabwe, Sylhet Stadium - 1500 IST March 19: Ireland vs United Arab Emirates, Sylhet Stadium - 1900 IST March 20: Afghanistan vs Nepal, Chittagong - 1500 IST March 20: Bangladesh vs Hong Kong, Chittagong - 1900 IST March 21: Zimbabwe vs United Arab Emirates, Sylhet Stadium - 1100 IST March 21: Ireland vs Netherlands, Sylhet Stadium - 1500 IST SUPER 10 March 21: India vs Pakistan, Mirpur - 1900 IST March 22: South Africa vs Sri Lanka, Chittagong - 1500 IST March 22: England vs New Zealand, Chittagong - 1900 IST March 23: Australia vs Pakistan, Mirpur - 1500 IST March 23: India vs West Indies, Mirpur - 1900 IST March 24: New Zealand vs South Africa, Chittagong - 1500 IST March 24: Sri Lanka vs TBC (Qualifier B1), Chittagong - 1900 IST March 25: West Indies vs TBC (Qualifier A1), Mirpur - 1900 IST March 27: South Africa vs TBC (Qualifier B1), Chittagong - 1500 IST March 27: England vs Sri Lanka, Chittagong - 1900 IST March 28: Australia vs West Indies, Mirpur - 1500 IST March 28: India vs TBC (Qualifier A1), Mirpur - 1900 IST March 29: New Zealand vs TBC (Qualifier B1), Chittagong - 1500 IST March 29: England vs South Africa, Chittagong - 1900 IST March 30: Pakistan vs TBC (Qualifier A1), Mirpur - 1500 IST March 30: Australia vs India, Mirpur - 1900 IST March 31: England vs TBC (Qualifier B1), Chittagong - 1500 IST March 31: New Zealand vs Sri Lanka, Chittagong - 1900 IST April 1: Australia vs TBC (Qualifier A1), Mirpur - 1500 IST April 1: Pakistan vs West Indies, Mirpur - 1900 IST April 3: 1st Semi-Final - TBC vs TBC (1st Group 1 vs 2nd Group 2), Mirpur - 1830 IST April 4: 2nd Semi-Final - TBC vs TBC (1st Group 2 v 2nd Group 1), Mirpur - 1830 IST April 6: Final - TBC vs TBC (Reserve Day 7th April), Mirpur - 1830 IST FORMAT Click HERE for details POINTS SYSTEM Click HERE for details.
