Where will the wedding take place? Although both Saif and Kareena are tight-lipped about the wedding, media reports suggest that the couple have booked out the same five star hotel where Saif had a brawl sometime ago. They have also booked a plush hotel in Juhu, a suburban district of Mumbai. As far as the Delhi preparations are concerned, a posh hotel in Gurgaon is booked. The Daawat-e-Walima will take place in Pataudi on October 18 and the family palace is also being decorated.

What will Kareena wear?For the wedding reception, the bride will wear the sharara that mother-in-law Sharmila Tagore had worn for her wedding with the late Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi. The outfit is very traditional and was passed on to Sharmila by her mother-in-law, Begum Sajida Sultan of Bhopal, who wore it at her wedding in 1939. It consists of a traditional kurta, dupatta and farishi pajama. Designer Ritu Kumar, who has reworked the outfit for Bebo said that Kareena will be wearing the original dupatta while the pajama and the kurta are being re-created as the fabric is very old. Master craftsmen from Bengal were assigned to work on the bridal outfit.

Kareena's designer and friend, Manish Malhotra is rumoured to have designed outfits for his muse for the other functions. Speculation about Saif and his sisters' Soha and Saba's outfits is also on. Recently, Soha reportedly said that she has left the decisions about her outfit to her mother

Wedding invitationSaif and Kareena's wedding invitations have gone out and we got our hands on one that was sent by Saif's mother Sharmila Tagore to Nawab and Begum Kazim Ali Khan of Rampur. The invitations have been sent out for the wedding reception, the Daawat-e-Walima, that will take place in Pataudi on October 18. The invitations bore the traditional Pataudi family emblem

The celebrationsKaran Johar, who is one of Bebo’s closest friends, choreographed her sangeet ceremony. Reports suggest that the couple's siblings along with close family members and friends performed to a medley of songs. Karan's prowess at choreographing sangeet ceremonies is well known as he had previously done the same for the Riteish-Genelia and Abhishek-Aishwarya's weddings.

The guest listThe who's who of the film industry is expected to attend the affair but Saif's mother hasn’t stopped there. The family has even reportedly invited President Pranab Mukherjee to the wedding reception. Kareena’s mother Babita has also invited Ranbir’s mother and the other Raj Kapoor daughter-in-law, Neetu Singh, putting an end to a 30-year long cold war.

Designer Raghavendra Rathore had created a Benarasi brocade 'achkan' for Saif with inputs from the groom and references from his father's wardrobe. The designer had also designed for Saif's son, Ibrahim, who will wear an 'achkan' inspired by his grandpa.
