Producer Kumar Taurani's son Girish Kumar is making his Bollywood debut with 'Ramaiya Vastavaiya' opposite Shruti Haasan. The romantic drama, directed by Prabhudheva, releases on July 19, 2013.

He has an enviable line-up of upcoming projects that include YRF's 'Shuddh Desi Romance' with Parineeti Chopra, 'Peekay' with Aamir Khan and Anushka Sharma and Imtiaz Ali's next.
Sushant Singh Rajput's co-star in 'Kai Po Che', Amit Sadh also makes it to this list. Starting his career on television with Neena Gupta's show, 'Kyun Hota Hai Pyarrr', Amit went on to do other shows like 'Guns and Roses' and 'Bigg Boss' before being launched in films.
Another TV starlet who made her Bollywood debut this year was Rhea Chakraborthy with 'Mere Dad Ki Maruti'. Rhea won a teen queen reality TV contest that landed her a job at MTV as a VJ. Rhea played the role of a Punjabi girl in the film directed by Ashima Chibber which also starred Ram Kapoor and Saqib Saleem.
