Anushka Sharma is another newcomer who had a dream Bollywood debut. Cast opposite Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan in a Yash Raj film, it couldn't have got better for her. Her subsequent films, 'Band Bajaa Baraat' and 'Ladies vs Ricky Bahl' also went on to become hits and she has not looked back since then.

The move of choosing 'Barfi!' as a vehicle for her Bollywood debut hit the bulls eye for the south siren Ileana D'Cruz. The film went on to become the biggest hit of 2012 and Oscar nomination or not, it put Ileana on the Bollywood centrestage.
Launched by Aamir Khan , Imran Khan's first movie 'Jane Tu Ya Jaane Na' became a blockbuster hit even drawing comparisons with his uncle's debut hit 'Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak'. The boy has had a pretty steady Bollywood run since then with films like 'Delhi Belly', 'I Hate Luv Stories' and 'Ek Main Aur Ek Tu' . Looks like he is here to stay.
