Cancer beater Yuvraj Singh finally makes a comeback to test cricket after being picked in the Indian test squad for the 1st test match against England.
Yuvraj Singh was India's brightest star during the ICC World Cup 2011. He shut his critics up during the West Indies match and scored a blistering century. Lethal with the bat, Yuvi also showed off his bowling capabilities as he picked a couple of wickets and took away the Man of the Match award. Photo: Getty Images
During this World Cup tie, Yuvi shone with the ball and the bat as his all-round performance earned India a well-deserved victory over the Irish. His scored a defiant 50 and took five wickets and became only fifth bowler in history to record a five-wicket haul in the World Cup. Photo: Getty Images
India eliminated the three-time champions in the quarter-finals of the ICC World Cup. Yuvraj's knock of 57 was instrumental in scoring the victory and he along with southpaw Suresh Raina ensured the Aussies were sent packing. He also chipped in with ball, scalping two wickets. Photo: AP
Yuvraj donned the IPL colours for the Sahara Pune Warriors as he led his side in the fourth season of the Indian Premier League. His half century against the Delhi Daredevils went in vain as the team lost by three runs but skipper Yuvi still managed to be the best man on the team, figuring as their top scorer for the whole tournament.
