The Master Blaster quit ODIs last month in order to concentrate more on the Tests. Sachin Tendulkar who scored 18,426 in 463 games at an average of 44.83 was sorely missed in the 50-over format. The team lacked the precision and discipline of Sachin on the field and it showed with their tiring performance. Can Sachin do a Paul Scholes? Many Indians wouldn't mind!
