Swedish furniture major IKEA is all set to enter the Indian market as the Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB) has approved of a Rs 10,000 crore investment proposal by the furniture giant. IKEA, which designs and sells ready-to-assemble furniture, will now be able to sell all its products and set up cafeterias at its retail stores in India. FIPB had earlier approved of only Rs 4,200 crore out of a total of Rs 10,000 crore investment proposal by IKEA, which will now be presented to the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs for their approval. Now with the Swedigh company entering our market , here's our wishlist for some other retail biggies we'd like to see in the neighbourhood...
